

Light was flickering, and my phone that was plugged in and charging completely froze requiring a trip to an Apple Store to fix.

One night there seemed to be power surges.

Garbage bin filled but not emptied for a few days, dirty dishes not removed, towel taken but not replaced. Room cleaning is spotty at best, even if you don’t put out the “green stay” sign. Was told not a problem and was given a… room with a bathtub but no shower. On check-in, I specifically asked for a room with shower instead of a bathtub as I have problems stepping in. Hotel seems to care about everything except their guests. When raising the matter with the front desk, they get defensive and want to lecture you. Of course they don’t tell you that and… you’re suddenly locked out of your room and don’t know why. So you go to the front desk asking for a second key for your room, but they just give you a key that’s not programmed - it works in the slot but not on the door. If you want to charge something while out of the room, you need a two keys - which housekeeping, spotty as it is, reliably keeps taking away every other day. Then they have the gimmick requiring you to put a card key in a slot to switch on power for the room.
